Family Reading Night

Family Reading Night is always one of the best and most enjoyable nights of the year! Throughout the year, an author/illustrator comes to PCY to read from and talk about their books. Students are invited to come dressed in their pajamas, cuddle up on a blanket with their family and friends, and listen to authors or illustrators. The author/illustrator shares a bit about the process of writing or illustrating and then reads from one or two of their books. Afterwards, the children can enjoy snacks and milk before going home to bed. These nights aim to foster student's love of reading and may even inspire many budding authors and illustrators!
